The Ukulele Hooley is Ireland's premier International Ukulele Festival run by the most enthusiastic of ukulele loving volunteers. The event attracts ukulele ensembles from all around the world to perform in the coastal area of Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin each year, and to have a good old fashioned hooley! It's a quirky family friendly event for all levels of ukulele enthusiasts and an all round great day out!
I devised a character of a ukulele playing fish inspired by famous uke performers and singers, in particular Cliff Edwards, also known as known as "Ukulele Ike". I have been creating the posters for this event for the past few years.
